i had one of those really perfect summer evenings where everything was kind of in soft focus, hazy and colorful. i walked around bay view with the stone roses playing out from the speakers inside my purse, seeing spots i'd never before noticed like Gloria's Salon which probably looks exactly the same as it did 40 years ago, a random creepy clown sign belonging to a mexican nightclub/restaurant and peeped the periphery of an abandoned gutted house thats on its last legs (actually, that was josh's sighting). also noticed Franklin's Chocolates is finally open and the historic apartment with the round living room is back up for rent. all of the aforementioned along with a delicious dinner at riviera maya and movie/game time made me very very happy.
