On the state of our State

As much as I detest the spineless, slimy, roach-like scoundrel that is our now college dropout of a governor, Scott Walker, part of me can't help but feel amused (dishearteningly so) that he’s in office—but only as a lesson to the people of Wisconsin. You get what you vote for. If the 40,000 plus people who’ve been tirelessly protesting in the snow, sleet and frigid cold of a Wisconsin winter had voted against him, then we likely wouldn't be in this shituation, with no foreseeable solutions until 2012. Hopefully, the people of this hardworking, no-bullshit state who have yet to figure it out, will do so by then.

For some actually informative writings on Walker, see Mother Jone's comprehensive blog post: What's Happening in Wisconsin Explained
